The pandemic hit many of us hard in different ways. For me, it meant totally changing my routine. I had to adapt to a new work environment (at home) and schedule and became increasingly sedentary. I am sad to say that turned into an added 40 pounds! Yikes! I haven’t been this heavy since I was pregnant with my last child over 20 years ago! And to top it all off, I am pre-menopausal, which makes losing weight even harder. Now that things are getting back to the “new normal”, it is time to get off my behind and do something about it.
I have restarted my fitness journey. I have restarted my keto/low-carb diet and workout regimen. I want to get back to running again! I plan to incorporate kettlebell training, walking, running, yoga and meditation into my plan. I have also decided to document my journey to help me stay accountable and to perhaps help someone out there like me who is struggling to find themselves again. Let’s do this!
I have started a separate YouTube channel called Wanda Chiquita Bonita, which is a nickname I was given a few years ago by John of The Ship Show. I plan to use this new channel to document my journey and use it as a personal channel for other things I want to share.
